Visa Requirements
Depending on where you will be traveling from, you may require a U.S. visa for your travel for the Summit. It is recommended to apply for a visa appointment several months before the Summit. For more information on how to obtain a visa, visit the U.S. Embassy website of your country of origin.
The Summit organizers can provide you with invitation letters and embassy letters to support your visa application. If you would like an invitation letter for this year’s Summit, please contact summit@makingcents.com for assistance.

Hotel List and Rates
See estimated rates for the week of September 9-12, 2024. We recommend booking well in advance to secure your room and using and utilizing search engines (e.g., booking.com or tripadvisor.com) to see if you can find better rates. Some nearby hotels are listed in the table. Prices are not guaranteed.
Parking:
There are two parking garages, Town Square Garage and Wayne Avenue Garage, available near the Summit venue for $1.25/hour. No reservation is required.
Metro:
Silver Spring Metro Station is less than a 10-minute walk from the Summit venue. This metro station services the Red Line, which will bring you to downtown DC, or transfer you to the Yellow Line and Reagan National Airport.
Transportation from Reagan International Airport (DCA):
Metro: From the Washington National Airport Metro Station, take the Yellow Line 6 stops toward Mount Vernon Square. Depart the Yellow Line train when you reach Gallery Pl-Chinatown. Board the Red Line and travel 8 stops toward Glenmont. Depart the Red Line train at Silver Spring Station. From there, head northeast on Colesville Road toward Metropolitan Branch Trail. Turn right onto Wayne Avenue. Then turn left onto Fenton Street, followed by a right toward Pershing Drive, and then a left toward Pershing Drive. Your destination will be on your left.
