The 2019 Global Youth Economic Opportunities Summit (GYEO)  will be held at the  Silver Spring Civic Building, located at 1 Veterans Place, Silver Spring, MD.  



There are several hotels located within walking distance of the Summit venue, including Courtyard Silver Spring Downtown, DoubleTree by Hilton Silver Spring, Hampton Inn Silver Spring, Homewood Suites Silver Spring, Sheraton Silver Spring,  and the Holiday Inn Express DC/Silver Spring.

There are two parking garages, Town Square Garage and Wayne Avenue Garage, available near the Summit venue for $1/hour. No reservation is required. 




Silver Spring Metro Station is less than a 10 minute walk from the Summit venue. This metro station services the Red Line, which will bring you to downtown DC, or transfer you to the Yellow Line and Reagan National Airport.

Transportation from Reagan International Airport (DCA): 


Shuttle: SuperShuttle provides transportation from Ronald Reagan International Airport (DCA) to the Summit venue for around $30.00. Be sure to select an appropriate shuttle departure time. Estimates suggest the trip from DCA to the Summit venue will take between 1 and 2 hours. Visit SuperShuttle or call (703) 416-7873 to book your ride in advance. 

Metro: From the Washington National Airport Metro Station, take the Yellow Line 6 stops toward Mount Vernon Square. Depart the Yellow Line train when you reach Gallery Pl-Chinatown. Board the Red Line and travel 8 stops toward Glenmont. Depart the Red Line train at Silver Spring Station. From there, head northeast on Colesville Road toward Metropolitan Branch Trail. Turn right onto Wayne Avenue. Then turn left onto Fenton Street, followed by a right toward Pershing Drive, and then a left toward Pershing Drive. Your destination will be on your left.
