Making Cents International Joins ILO's Global Decent Jobs for Youth Initiative

Updated: Jun 17, 2022

Making Cents International recently partnered with Decent Jobs for Youth, a UN system-wide effort through the International Labour Organization, focusing on the youth employment challenge that is central to the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development. We have become a member of their multi-stakeholder alliance and have pledged to use the YEO 2030 Initiative as a contributor to their multi-dimensional and multi-sectoral approach to tackling critical barriers that prevent young people from accessing decent work and improving the quantity and quality of jobs available to them.

“Decent Jobs for Youth and YEO 2030 are in alignment when it comes to addressing the key issues that are affecting youth economic opportunities globally. Connecting for collective action will help us make significant progress in achieving SDG 8,” said Matthew Breman, Global Director of YEO 2030.
