Dr. Francis Kangure is an award-winning organizational development and energy expert with over 15 years’ experience in strengthening power utilities in Eastern and Central Africa. He is the director of cross-cutting units (gender equity and social inclusion; monitoring, evaluation, and learning; communications, institutional performance improvement, climate change and environment) in the USAID-funded Power Africa Empower East and Central Africa. He is also a Postdoctoral Researcher at Strathmore University focusing on capacity and skills development for climate change adaptation and mitigation. Previously, he was a peer reviewer at the Commission for University Education in Kenya.
