Maribel Jarrín is a Strategic Education Advisor, M&E and Research at VVOB in Ecuador. In this capacity, she ensures that the organization’s interventions in secondary technical education are evidence-informed and evidence-generating and manages partnerships with the Department of Monitoring and Research of the Ministry of Education. Prior to joining VVOB, Maribel worked as a project and technical coordinator for UNDP, the Ministries of Education and Health and various local authorities in Ecuador and as a consultant conducting supply-demand studies of Ecuador’s skills landscape. Maribel holds a Bachelor’s in Geography and Environment and a Master´s in Geographic Information Systems from the Universidad de las Fuerzas Armadas (ESPE) and the Universidad San Francisco.
