Maud

Maud Seghers is a Global Strategic Education Advisor at VVOB, where she coordinates the development and educational support to the Skilling for Sustainable Futures Flagship for youth in secondary education and training. She fosters partnerships with global initiatives such as Decent Jobs for Youth and Solutions for Youth Employment (S4YE) and participates in the Youth Systems Collaborative. She is equally enthusiastic about her role in scaling education solutions through government systems in the four education sub-sectors in which VVOB is active. Maud led the co-creation of the Education Scalability Checklist in 2020-2021 and was on the Advisory Board of an Impact@Scale Lab of the Global Schools Forum in 2023-2025. She holds a Master’s degree in Comparative and International Education from Teachers College, Columbia University and Master’s degree and upper secondary Teacher Certification from the University of Ghent, Belgium.
