Youth and Cooperatives: Developing Solutions for Sustainable Rural Livelihoods
Natalie Petrulla (she/her) is a Gender Equity, Youth, and Social Inclusion Senior Program Manager with NCBA CLUSA. She leads the organization’s Inclusive Development practice area, providing technical assistance across the organization’s agricultural resilience, environment, market systems, cooperative development, and financial inclusion project portfolio. She has nearly a decade of experience integrating gender, youth, and social inclusion across Latin America, sub-Saharan Africa, and Asia and the Pacific. In her previous role, she served as a Technical Lead on the USAID Advancing Women’s Empowerment (AWE) program, developing resources on best practices for empowering women and youth in agriculture and market systems in USAID Feed the Future programs. She is a former Mickey Leland International Hunger Fellow and holds a MA in International Development from American University and a BA in Public Policy and Environmental Studies from New York University.
