Using AI and Data to Map Green Jobs and Skills Transitions for More Aligned Program Design
Obed Diener, Technical Advisor, has provided technical leadership to FHI 360 projects and activities in multiple countries with a primary focus on workforce development, youth leadership, and economic participation. Mr. Diener has led numerous labor market assessments (LMAs) in countries including Kenya and South Africa. He co-developed FHI 360’s Green LMA Toolkit, recently pilot-tested in the solar energy sector in Morocco, and was a member of the GYEOS Green Jobs Action Team in 2022-23. He has ten years of field experience including extended assignments in Jordan and West Bank/Gaza, with additional field experience in Africa, South Asia, and Latin America.
